Dr. Joseph Yurigan Jr. graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Baccalaureate of Science Degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Coastal Carolina University.
Appreciating the total-person approach to medicine which encompasses the mind, body, and spirit of the patient, he went on to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Yurigan Jr. completed his multifaceted anesthesiology training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Before joining the team at Triangle Implant Center, Dr. Yurigan Jr went on to head Allied In-Office Sedation Specialists, which provided anesthesia services for pediatric dentists in rural and underserved areas. Thereafter he served as an attending anesthesiologist for Duke Regional Hospital providing mobile anesthesia.
Dr. Yurigan Jr. lives with his family in Orange County and enjoys skiing, fishing, hunting, and farming.
